Baxter's is a great place. Bartenders/barbacks are so much fun. You feel like family there. Fri/Sat nite dancers are also great. Good mix of customers. This is not the Baxter's of years ago.

New bar tender that works fri sat is over charging for drinks Was let go from other well known bar for same thing Owner alows this to happen Only looking for money here Place is a dump and bar tender is two faced there serve warm beer and water downed drinks on the weekend

Fun place to watch games :)

I love coming here when ever the Bucs, Rays, Lightning, or Bulls are playing. Drinks are good, and they have a nice spread of food when they have games on the big screen. They also have strippers, pool table, ample parking in front and back.

Not worth the visit

To much DRAMA. Although there are a few grea guys and a select few bartenders. The lots of talk is gossip and back stbing for some strange way (Why ??) If Tddd is working just better leave and head to City Side. You'll be waiting for a drink and will be served when servved after he does shots with his friendsand it is expected by him for a good tip with Schiity service when

Been going to Baxters a few years great place to meet people from the S Tampa Area. Lots to hear and talk about the good ole days. Just wish they would find a beter bartender then Joe. Gary and Dave make the place come alive, as well as Don three great guys that work there. We will not return till they find a new bar tender.

full of regulars, but not welcoming to newcomers

I traveled to Tampa last weekend. I stopped off here for happy hour before heading over to Ybor City (Gaybor District). The bartender was not welcoming at all, neither was any of the patrons. I tipped $2 for a $5 drink, but bartender didn't say thanks, he didn't ask me if i wanted another when i finished, and spent all his time on the other side of the bar. This is a place for locals, but enter at your own risk if you're new.

Great friendly bartenders, eclectic crowd, sort of the alcoholic type, but safe bet, low self esteem crowd in need of affection, check it out!

Similar to Keith's place - in N. Tampa, 80's music, very laid back/friendly. Small place with not many people, but the bartender knew how to keep you around for more than just one drink. The crowd was basically rough trade.
