I visited Tampa/Ybor City last weekend. This was the place to be saturday night. There's 2 separate areas - one is mostly a large dance floor and the other has a pool table begging for use. The typical scene - nice looking guys, mostly younger scene, packed, but I was able to get drinks from bartenders quickly.

Typical Pompous Gaybor Crowd thrives here. If you like Twinks.. this is the place to go

I recomend this club to anyone espeacially on sat were all the hot men are at. It can get hot but what club doesnt get hot while you are dancing your butt off. Love the music on fri and on sat they have great techno in one room and hip hop in the other. Its not pricey compare to the other clubs in ybor or tampa.

Excellent club in the middle of Ybor or what it is now starting to be called "Gaybor".

GBar is like home to everyone in the community including myself. Everyone knows about it and each night is different with a different theme. Music is good on most days...Open Tues,Thurs,Fri-Sundays. Every night is like a party too! The guys are very nice looking and the dancers are hot! Drinks are farely priced in comparison to a big city....I would rather pay their prices then goto Miami and pay twice as much for just ok entertainment. This places gives you everything....2 rooms of entertainment, hot dancers, great lights & sound, friendly bartenders and some are sexy too :) and just an all-around good vibe. A must place to go when in Tampa. Check out their 2 other venues(Steam Fridays at The Honey Pot and the new SOCIAL/Ybor Eagle too) They are all within walking distance. Looks like a week full of bar hopping!!

Decent bar - nice bartenders and decor. Is a bit overrated, but its fun. Also, it's a little small and the cover can be high but on Tuesdays its free drinks from 9-11 (well) and no cover. Not a bad place and close to Charlies, Limelight and Honeypot (Steam on Fridays, Flirt on Saturdays). 4/5 from me.

This bar is overrated! I don't understand why people go to this place, the music isn't that great, the sound system sounds horrible, and the air conditioning never works - its hot even now when its winter. There are other places to go that are more fun with no cover.

I really enjoyed myself lil hot on dance floor, but I was lil over dressed. Next time I come will wear my tight jeans and t. And the scenery(men) was wonderful

The best dance bar in Tampa. There is one side where you can talk if you dont want the loudness of the dance floor side. People say the drinks are overpriced here, but it's a big city type dance bar, so what do you expect, $2 drinks? The drinks are priced about where you'd expect them to be for a bar like this. If you don't like the prices, so on Tues. night when drinks are free. How many other bars do that?

G-Bar is great on Saturday nights with the great dancing and staff dancers. Drinks are a little high and cover charge has varied from $5-$10. I think it would be more successful and desired if they expanded the dance floor, tore down the wall that separates the bar and made it into one large club with one personality.

G Bar has a great atmosphere and the people are always fun and entertaining. But the drinks are way overpriced for the amount that you get. But overall it is someplace that I would return.

Most clubs in Hollywood suck compared to G. Bar. It reminds me of being in Roscoes in Chicago, one of the top clubs there.

overall the club itself is nice. but everything else sucks. the drink are way overpriced and small. u pay like 5 bucks for a dinky little cup of rum and coke. which tastes like coke and no rum

The place is like no other place I have ever been to. I wouldnt say that its a young crowd, I would say that its a well diverse crowd. Great mixture and one heck of staff.. I must say that you cant get any better then this. Been there once a week at the least since Ive been there, I have droped the others. No offence to those clubs, but G Bar just out does em..

from the minute i entered g. bar, i felt at home! The club has a very New York/L.A. feel and i didn't even spend much, but had an awesome time and got a few phone numbers too.

New and Modern club, the lates dance music very crowded place and friendly.. great prices and excellent drinks. The best place to be....
