Bowie Fest, A Music-Inspired Art Event at Artpool Gallery to Celebrate The Man Who Stole The World

Come have a rockin' good time! On Saturday May 21st ARTpool is bringing it back and celebrating one of our favorite icons: Mr. David Bowie. He and his music has influenced the ARTpool crew, so we felt it only appropriate to bring back Bowie Fest and pay homage to such a worthwile human being and his work. Dress up as your favorite Bowie incarnation, your favorite 70s and 80s rock heroes, or 70s- and 80s-inspired costumes! WE WILL HAVE A COSTUME CONTEST FOR ALL GUESTS TO PARTICIPATE IN PRIOR TO THE RUNWAY SHOW. DRESS YOUR BEST & WOW US! WANT TO PARTICIPATE?! Want to feature a collection? Design up to 10 or 15 pieces to fit the music- and decades-inspired theme! Email us about information and submission! Submit your art to be a part of the show! Drop off your artwork inspired by the Thin White Duke, music, the 1970s, the 1980s April 25th-May 17th to be a part of the gallery exhibition. Up to 3 pieces is $30 exhibition fee; if a work is 24" or over it counts as 2 works. Each additional work is only $10 to submit. All art sales go to the artist with no gallery commission, and all participating artists get a complimentary ticket to the show. Thank you for supporting local art & culture!
