Can it get worse?
I went only once and it was enough. Outside the broken down bar were redneck type trucks and inside some country tune was playing about the glories of beer. Except the cowgirls here were all way over the hill and in need of a shower and some manhood to dress in style instead of ttryiong. trying to fit in to the lowest. It was really smelly and dirty. Don't go. One especially hideious queen was dominating the conversation about all the stars of the bar scene he knows. This place is strictly small town trash.
Horrible
Reviews should not be from management and pictures should be real. This bar once had the nerve to ban transpeople yet calls itself "Christopher Street". It is a smoke filled dive with hideous decor in a forlorn strip mall in Largo. The clientele consists mostly of old drunks who can't deal with their own homosexuality. They serve drunks who drive just to make money. I popped in there to have some horror tell me "I wasn't gay till I was 65" and "I now live in a trailer" as he choked on the cigarette smoke he blew in my face. They sometimes have food I am told but it is so dirty, who would eat here?
Normie karaoke on Tuesdays!
She is the best in the Tampa Bay area :) And on other nights, the bar has a bit of everything.
Not the worst bar I've been to, but not great at all
This is a small bar with a lot of smoke. At times the dancers are good, other times it seems they found the nearest homeless person with a good body to dance. The bar tenders seem to not care if they actually serve you. I have been to the place 4 times in the past 3 years and each time the same, wait 20-30 minutes to order a drink. Smoke filled bar with a bunch of old timers sitting around. No real young crowd. No great dancers with the exception of one night. Just a real let down in the form of a gay bar. I've been to other places that aren't as unfriendly.
The Good and the Bad
This is a smoke filled bar in a strip mall. The people tend to be friendly and the bartenders nice. But there is no getting away from the fact that if there are 5 people there, four are elderly, drunk and chain smoking. I would urge the bartenders not to serve people who are plastered and driving home even if it is bad for business...there is a moral obligation here! Anyway, if a dumpy neighborhood bar is your thing you could do worse. Have fun.
