The Rainbow Cabaret (Closed Permanently)

I travel the country and visit bath houses when in metro areas. On a recent visit to Tampa Bay (July 2011), I made it a point to visit/stay overnight in their three bath houses: YborResort, RainbowCabaret, & TampaMensClub. The Trashy Drug infested RainbowCabaret had a few fuckable slut bois in attendance, but was not a place I felt comfortable in. Rainbow Cabaret is #10 on my list, behind Atlanta's Flex Bath.

Not what it used to be.

I have been there a couple of times over the past few years. There are a lot of dark places to hide and get a little action. I would like to go back again but the smell of urine is just too strong. I will probably start going to the theatres and such until they clean this place a little.

May not be spotless, but it can be HOT as Hell

I've seen great improvements over the past several months (the crowd and the facility) They've added a large porn theatres from the Playhouse Theatre next door, and put glory holes in the wall connecting the two. Saturday nights are especially busy (other times maybe just as good---just haven't been other times) As for the previous reviews who didn't like the crowd : maybe you were there when bathhouses are typically slow. Or just just weren't patient enough. I've been there when I thought "this is the worst night I've ever been here" but after awhile it turned out to be GREAT. And as far as cleanliness----come on guys, Martha Stewart doesn't live there.

What a Dump!

Bette Davis said it best! My God! This place is the most hacked piece of wreckage I have ever seen! It is an enormous cavern of darkness, mold and mildew. Water (or worse) drips all over the place. The entire facility consists of rickety plywood and two by fours sloppily nailed together like some junior high school stage set. The rooms are tacked together atop the sloping floor where theater seating once existed. It makes me feel dizzy, off balance as if I'm on the deck of a sinking ship. The whole place is furnished with stuff most Salvation Army stores would reject so I assume dumpster diving is the primary source. I got a lock and key to place on the locker of my choice. Most of them would not even latch! The dry sauna (no steam room) was totally dark which is dangerous.

With a very deceptive strategy

I went to this place, bought a membership, spent my money with the good intention to meet men. I thought the place is packed with people because ther were lots of cars parked in the parking lot. I went inside only to find out two men over the retirable age sitting sleepily on the couch trying the porn movie playing. It truly is an escape because no one will find you there and theres nothing to do other than counting the minutes and hoping against hope that someone like me will be lured with the number of parked cars in the fron. Never again.... and if I may say, It not a truthful advertisement by the management at all. So guys, remember, dont assume occupancy by the number of cars parked at the front or you will have the same experience i had.
