Druggie Infested Pit

This is the most drug infested place I have ever seen. Scuzzy young druggie inhabit the hotel rooms. I see them there every time I visit so they must live there. Constant flitting from door to door, knocking, dealing, etc.. Staff allows uninhibited running around in drugged-up frenzy, causing disturbance and possibly injury. This is a hopeless graveyard of derelicts, gutter trash and burn-outs.

So whats the YRS like? Good question

I have not been back to this place for over 4 years now. Yet, I get close to 60 emails a day from people asking me "what is the YRS like? Good Question. I don't know anymore. But from what I heard from so many people who visited here, along with many other friends on all the social networks I am on, all have confirmed what I now believe what the YRS is like today without me stepping one foot back there. I admit that years ago, I had a strong addiction to this place where it cost my job, my car, my faith, friendships, and almost destroyed a decade long relationship with my boyfriend. But thank God for jealousy from those who could not stand me being there. They made it perfectly clear that I was not welcome there. After some years later, I have learned to move on for the better. I have a better job now increasing the support for Marriage Equality, and the GLBT community. The relationship with my boyfriend has become even more stronger than ever. Yes my life is better now for what happened. I have learned to be content with what I have now, and I have learned to let go of grudges, spite, anger, and most of all learned to forgive, My faith has even become stronger. But to forget is still going to take a while. Because those people who were jealous of me, I still consider to be friends, brothers, and family. I have limited myself to visiting Ybor City and going to the restaurant, businesses, bars and clubs because I just don't know how some people would react to me because of the past. I guess I still feel like a black sheep of the family. Yes, I have many times asked for forgiveness from those who were hurt by the way I acted, and the awful things I said. But that is their choice to forgive, and they may never forgive ever. They may never accept me ever again. But I cant be controlled by that, and I have to move on and remain thankful for the friends, and family who have been by my side all this time, and who have helped me to become a better person today than what I was before.

Glory days over... Dark ages upon this place

I was here 5 years ago and some poor choices have been made. There used to be a steam room upstairs and also a maze. Changes where made to make the steam room into a maze and convert the maze into extra rooms. The new maze has no steam... And is a really sucky maze, no really good dark areas or anything to keep people in the maze to mingle. This place was 60% clean and by bath house standards great. However it's a shame, because this used to be a super clean bath house and also one of the nicest ever. It had great rooms and resort feel... But it's all starting to decay. The best part is the location is in the middle of three to four gay bars. It can see tons of action. There is old guys, but every time I go the hot guys out number. You need to go on a good club night. They also allow you in and out privileges. So I recommend getting a room early, having a great night in Tampa, and then not worry about driving home. During the day it does have a nice pool deck for tanning. Like the other reviews, it's true the clientele... Even the young dudes... Just like Ybor is full of sketchy riff raff and drug users. But you shouldn't be surprised, Ybor city has a lot of crime and Tampa Bay is not a city to meet a husband. I recommend using Ynor to meet guys and to avoid DUIs... Not worth it for the pool and spa.
